Our team

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm a born and bred Whakatane local having grown up in rural Awakeri. I moved away briefly to study at Massey University in Palmerston North where I gained a Bachelor's in Business Studies majoring in accounting and finance, plus a Certificate in Business. Whakatane has always been home so on completion I moved back and am now living in Coastlands with my husband, our two sons and two dogs.

Life outside of work is pretty busy with two school primary-aged kids! You may see us out on the hockey field, running along the river bank or at Onepu bike park.

I've worked as an accountant in Whakatane since 2010 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2014. It's always been a dream of mine to own a practice where the focus is on the client and adding value to the work we do on their behalf. I love working with numbers and recognise that it doesn't come naturally to others so it's my goal to help you to understand your business and your numbers and improve on these year on year.
